People in Connecticut receiving unemployment benefits will be required to document their efforts to get a job starting May 30. That requirement had been waived at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic as a public safety measure. In a statement, Department of Labor Commissioner Kurt Westby said the reinstatement of the work search requirement "will support the state's ongoing recovery and reopening efforts."
