Connecticut Public, home to Connecticut Public Television, Connecticut Public Radio (WNPR), and various digital outlets, seeks a digital specialist candidate to join our Underwriting Team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a mission-driven individual with an entrepreneurial mindset to be an integral part of a growing public media organization that is essential source for truth and ideas that connects the citizens of Connecticut to their communities and to the world. Responsibilities will include prospecting, conducting a needs assessment, creating and presenting proposals, and servicing accounts.
In this relationship-building role our new hire will contact key decision-makers across Connecticut, meet with them to understand their marketing needs, and develop proposals that focus on digital marketing solutions to help them grow their businesses. The ideal applicant must have a proven track-record in sales performance, digital sales experience, and an in-depth understanding of digital media.
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a closely related-field AND/OR minimum equivalent of three (3) years’ experience in media sales with proven track record of success in all aspects of digital sales.
