Student Nurses Learn How to Care for Veterans

Fairfield University is participating in the nationwide initiative, Joining Forces, to to help veterans. WNPR's Lucy Nalpathanchil spoke with the Dean of the School Of Nursing, Dr Suzanne Campbell.

Campbell talks about how the school is teaching its students about PTSD and TBI so they can better treat veterans who are coming home from war. Fairfield's School of Nursing began its undergraduate program in 1970. It also has a master's and doctorate of Nursing programs.
