Bridgeport Hospital is the latest to restrict visitations because of COVID concerns. Hearst Connecticut reports no visitors will be allowed for hospitalized patients starting Nov. 14. Meanwhile, Greenwich Hospital has announced it will only permit one visitor per day between 2 to 6 p.m. The visitation restriction will go into effect on Nov. 16.
Both hospitals will make exceptions at their discretion for certain patient groups including maternity and end-of-life situations.
