How We Hire

Application Process:
All current opportunities are posted on our career page: https://ctpublic.csod.com/ux/ats/careersite/1/home?c=ctpublic and are listed as "open until filled." We encourage candidates to apply for multiple opportunities.

Interview Process:
Applicants with qualifications most closely matching the position requirements will be contacted for an interview, typically starting with a phone screening. If you are not selected to interview, you will receive an email notification.

Interviews are typically conducted in two to three rounds. Interviewees speak with a panel of stakeholders, often including the hiring manager, peers, a senior leader, and HR.

Interviews for some positions (particularly technical roles) may include a skill test or assessment. You will be informed prior to the interview if there is a test or assessment component.

Selection:
If you are selected for a position, you can expect an official notification and verbal offer. All offers are carefully and thoughtfully determined by a number of indicators, including: market value, the candidate’s experience, and internal pay equity practices.

Upon acceptance of the offer, your employment will be contingent upon completion of a background check. CT Public uses E-Verify to verify employment authorization.
