Kindred Gaynor
Larry Lunden NewsKindred Gaynor joined Connecticut Public Broadcasting in September of 2019 as a Larry Lunden News intern.
Kindred was born in Sleepy Hollow, NY. He developed a devout passion for sports at a very young age. He graduated from Newburgh Free Academy in June of 2015. During his time in high school he realized that he wanted to pursue a career in sports reporting while taking a course called GBTV (Goldback Television). He appeared on a show called the Game Clock, where he updated his peers on the most recent high school and national sports stories.
In 2019, he graduated from the University of Hartford. He graduated with a 3.45 cumulative GPA and a bachelor’s degree in Communications and a minor in Sociology. While in college, Gaynor worked with ESPN3 to broadcast Hartford Hawks athletics and the Yale All-Access production staff to broadcast Yale Bulldogs athletics. He appeared on STN Channel 2 News, (Hartford’s student television station, as a sports reporter.
