Connecticut U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal.

Election Day is just around the corner, which means it’s almost time to cast your vote in Connecticut's U.S. Senate race. Last month, Republican candidate Dan Carter stopped by for an in-depth look at his campaign.

This hour, it's Democratic incumbent Richard Blumenthal's turn to answer our questions and hear from you. As always, we take your calls, tweets, and emails.

Later, we also check in with students from CPBN's Journalism and Media Academy. They weigh in on the 2016 presidential race and tell us about a new video project called "DEAR POTUS."

GUESTS:

  • Sen. Richard Blumenthal - Connecticut's Democratic incumbent candidate for U.S. Senate
  • Jahn Spears - Senior at CPBN's Journalism and Media Academy Magnet School in Hartford, Connecticut
  • Madyson Frame - Senior at CPBN's Journalism and Media Academy Magnet School in Hartford, Connecticut
  • Ashley Floyd - Senior at CPBN's Journalism and Media Academy Magnet School in Hartford, Connecticut
