Legacy Builders

Legacy Builders documents the authentic narratives from alumni, current students, and volunteers, who have been shaped by the pioneering efforts of The Legacy Foundation of Hartford; a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, dedicated to addressing health and education disparities, particularly in underserved areas of Hartford, Connecticut.

Its aim is to create opportunities for youth, recognizing that while talent is universal, access to opportunities is not always equitable. The organization designs and executes programs to address the four pillars of success: increasing performance in core academic subjects, exposing students to new educational experiences outside of the classroom, encouraging a healthy lifestyle, and developing a college-going culture.
