UConn Women's Basketball Team Has Positive Coronavirus Case, Start Of Season Delayed

The University of Connecticut announced a member of the women's basketball program tested positive for COVID-19. The season, which has not yet started, has been put on hold for at least 14 days.

The Huskies had four games on their schedule. According to their calendar, the first three games will not be made up. The fourth game against conference opponent Seton Hall, is postponed.

The men's basketball team is still scheduled to play Central Connecticut State University on Wednesday at Gampel Pavilion in Storrs.
